How big is the export market in Brazil?

According to data from World’s Top Exports, Brazilian exports totalled US$334.5 billion in 2023. Goods being exported to China, the US, Argentina, the Netherlands, Spain and Chile accounted for over half of all Brazilian exports.

 

So what are the top 10 Brazilian exports?

The following are the top 10 Brazilian exports in 2023. This top 10 accounts for over 70% of the total US$ value of all exports from Brazil.

1. Mineral Fuels – US$56.9 billion (17.0% of total Brazilian exports)

2. Oil Seeds – US$47.2 billion (14.1% of total exports)

3. Orders, Slag & Ash – US$32.4 billion (9.7% of total exports)

4. Meat – US$24.0 billion (7.2% of total exports)

5. Iron & Steel – US$16.7 billion (5.0% of total exports)

6. Cereals – US$13.9 billion (4.2% of total exports)

7. Machinery including Computers – US$12.4 billion (3.7% of total exports)

8. Vehicles – US$12.3 billion (3.7% of total exports)

9. Sugar & Confectionery – US$11.2 billion (3.4% of total exports)

10. Food Waste & Animal Fodder – US$11.1 billion (3.3% of total exports)
