How big is the imports market in China?

According to the final year-end reports released by the General Administration of Customs (GACC) on January 14, 2026, China’s total imports for 2025 reached $2.65 trillion USD.

The data shows a distinct trend where the “cost” of energy and raw materials decreased due to lower global commodity prices, even as the “volume” of goods imported increased. Conversely, high-tech imports like integrated circuits saw significant price hikes.

  2. Crude Petroleum – $318.2 Billion 
  3. Iron Ore and Concentrates – $116.5 Billion

  5. Natural Gas (LNG/Pipe) – $55.4 Billion
  6. Copper Ore and Concentrates – $52.1 Billion
  7. Gold – $44.8 Billion
  8. Soybeans – $41.2 Billion
  9. Precision Instruments – $34.9 Billion
  10. Automobiles and Parts – $28.4 Billion
