AGI Offices
Since opening in December 2014, the AGI Bristol office, who specialise in all modes of transport have grown to a team of 16, and in October 2021 the team relocated to a much larger office that they now call home.
The office is run by Georgia Stowell and Scott Showell, who have over 25 years experience in freight and logistics, and the team are based on the outskirts of Bristol. And when you add up all of the logistics experience within the team, it totals over 150 years, so you’re in safe hands when booking shipments with the AGI Bristol team!
Apprenticeship Programme
Since the AGI Bristol office was opened, 6 apprentices have successfully passed their apprenticeship. And a further 2 colleagues are currently working towards completing their apprenticeship. All of the apprentices are given dedicated time within the working day for training and studying, meaning they are in the perfect environment to learn on the job!
And once an apprenticeship has been completed, there is a route to full time employment too. Georgia Stowell, one of the Directors of AGI Bristol, joined as an apprentice in July 2014, and since completing a Business Administration apprenticeship, has held a series of different positions, and was recently appointed a Director.
Georgia commented: “Starting at AGI as an apprentice gave me all of the skills required to forge a career in freight, and I am really thankful I decided to complete an apprenticeship with AGI.”

Phytosanitary Transport
In addition to moving goods like Formula 1 cars, the team at AGI Bristol also ship phytosanitary products. These products include, milk, flowers, seeds and any product with an animal origin.
When you transport such goods, it’s quite a complicated processes and it requires lots of paperwork! For example, a Common Health Entry Document, or CHED, is a mandatory document that needs to be presented at border control. An Export Health Certificate, or EHC, will also be required.
