AGI Offices
Our AGI Derby office is run by Dale Cross, and was opened in May 2022. Since its opening, the Derby office has gone from strength to strength, with the team specialising in air, road and sea transport across the UK, Europe, and the rest of the world. In fact, the office is doing so well, that even though it only opened in May, the office had to move in September to accommodate new members of the team to keep up with demand!
The office itself is centrally located in Derby, just 20 minutes from East Midlands Airport, and moments from the M1 motorway. The M1 links the East Midlands with the north of England via the M6, and the south via the M5. This make the Derby office a fantastic location for offering logistics solutions in Derby, and the surrounding area of the East Midlands.

As well as offering air, road and sea transport, the AGI Derby team also specialise in DDP Regime 42 movements from the UK to Europe for groupage, FTL and dedicated express vans. This allows the team to meet all of their customers freight and logistics requirements.
What is DDP Regime 42?
DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) Regime 42 allows a UK exporter to take back full control of the customs procedures. It is a simplified declaration using a customs office in France that allows the trailer to arrive into Europe under free circulation, meaning zero customs stops. This allows us to offer pre-Brexit transit times, and it makes buying from the UK more appealing. It also allows us to ZERO Rate the VAT, meaning no hefty VAT bills, which is good for your company’s cash flow.
Regime 42 manages all your European import & export needs. From allocating the vehicle and completing the necessary paperwork checks, to raising export declarations to clear goods in advance of arriving at their destination. This removes the requirement to pay for EU import VAT, and any deferment fees on duties payable. Regime 42 is our post-Brexit customs product utilising DDP incoterms, so there is no need for our customers to appoint separate agents or arrange customs clearance, ensuring you are always in control of your delivery and not faced with unexpected fees or delays.
Acting as your customs representative in the UK, and arranging the EU customs clearance, we will invoice you in the UK for transport and customs costs, making sure our customers deal with VAT the way they always have. The only requirement is our customers will need be to unload the goods on arrival.
