The US has the biggest economy in the world, with goods moving into, out of, and across the country 24/7. And given our global reach, you can count on us to ensure your goods are safely transported to and from the US when placing your booking with our team. In fact, the AGI London team recently exported a Buick Old Yeller to the US for one of their customers!
Let us take a look at the journey it took!
The Journey
To ensure the safety of the Buick, it was collected and delivered to the airport on a car trailer. The vehicle was then air freighted on a dedicated Private Maritime Security Company (PMSC). The Buick departed London Heathrow (LHR), and approximately 11 hours later, it arrived safely at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), ready to be delivered to the final destination.
As part of the shipment, our London team completed the carnet for the vehicle. Dangerous Goods certificates were also arranged, meaning the car had no delays when leaving, or arriving in the US.
Matthew Eldridge, who managed the shipment commented: “Being a classic car fanatic, I was ecstatic when the customer contacted us.”
