AGI Offices
Since opening in April 2021, the AGI Newcastle office, who specialise in Air Freight, Sea Freight and Road Freight have recorded significant growth, with the office recently relocating to make space for the expanding team!
The office is run by Chloe Docherty and Simon Dow, and the office itself located in Boldon Colliery just moments from the Port of Tyne and Newcastle International Airport. The location is key for the office, with the A1(M) connecting the Port of Tyne with the South, with multiple road routes to Scotland. This means the office can supply a road freight solution across the whole of the UK!
Air Freight
As the AGI Newcastle office specialise in Air Freight, it’s no surprise that the team utilise Newcastle International Airport for both imports and exports. But it’s not only local airports they team have access to. For cargo that needs to enter or leave the UK from any major airport, the team can help. And despite being nearly 300 miles from London, the majority of the Air Freight the team arranges goes through London Heathrow.

Sea Freight
The AGI Newcastle office is perfectly located to offer Sea Freight solutions, as the office is based just 3 miles from the Port of Tyne. Slightly further south is Teesport too, so the office is spoilt for choice when transporting goods across water.

Turkish & Syrian Aid
During the recent earthquake that hit parts of Turkey & Syria, the team at AGI Newcastle arranged the Customs documentation for aid that had been collected by Dave Shepherd, the Director of Procurement & Services at SecuriCorp. The team were also on-site helping to pack and wrap boxes and pallets.

Sprouts Direct by Sports Direct
Who remembers the first Christmas jumper from Sports Direct, lovingly referred to as Sprouts Direct?
Well, if you do remember the jumper, and have one hanging in your wardrobe, the AGI Newcastle office actually worked with Sports Direct to import the jumpers for them from Bangladesh!
